Police identify man in connection with Worthing shop thefts

Police have identified a man sought in connection with two linked thefts in Worthing.

The incidents occurred at the Co-Op stores in Rowlands Road and Tarring Road on Friday, March 5, where a total of £100 worth of tobacco products were stolen, police said.

A suspect has been identified and is assisting officers with enquiries; police are not searching for anyone else in relation to the thefts, confirmed a spokesman.

Police said: “Thank you to anyone who contacted us with information and intelligence.”
