Downlands Community School's festive forest raises over £600 for Chestnut Tree House

Year seven, eight and ten students at Downlands Community School had a hectic hour on when they created a '˜Christmas tree forest'.

This event is sponsored by local businesses and is a ‘lovely’ link between the school and the local community.

Visitors to the school’s Christmas market were invited to vote for their favourite tree, for only £1.
