Labour kept control of Hastings council after holding all 13 of its contested seats as well as winning back a seat left vacant following the death of John Hodges.

Conservatives kept all three of its council seats - in the Conquest, Ashdown and Maze Hill wards - but did not gain any new wards.

There is no change to the overall makeup of the council with 24 Labour Councillors and eight Conservative councillors.
