William Penn Christmas Carol Concert
The concert was a great opportunity for all pupils. Year 6 read their lines using a microphone, which really was fun and with Year 5 pupils explored the world of music by playing glockenspiels.
The younger children looked splendid in their costumes as they performed a tableau. All the pupils had a great time and got to sing their ‘socks off’.

Hide AdAlicia Tapson, a pupil in Year 5, reported “When our school performed in the Chapel, I was amazed by how well it went”.
Ellie Waters, a pupil in Year 6, spoke excitedly, “The sounds that travelled through the room were like music to my ears”.
Mr Kear, our Headteacher, added, “We would like to thank everyone that made our carol service on Monday so successful. We were truly amazed by the amount of people in the audience and thrilled with the atmosphere that this helped to create. The children performed extremely well and we are very proud of them.”
In a nutshell, we thought that the concert was stunning and that everybody sang superbly. We would like to thank the staff, pupils and parents for making this concert the best it could be.
