Well I and many other customers were clearly annoyed at the toddlers’ behaviour – running up and down, shouting and totally uncontrolled.
It was me, who said to one of you, that you should be careful in case of accidents with hot drinks.

I replied you should keep control and as you walked away you probably didn’t hear me say I had worked with children for 25 years as a paediatric nurse.
So I do know what I am talking about.
I approached the manager to which he replied the parents are responsible.
So if by misfortune one of the uncontrolled tots gets scolded, don’t blame Waitrose or the poor devil who spilt the hot drink over the running toddler, blame yourself.
