The emergency services were called to a ‘serious road traffic collision’ on the A29 near Broadbridge Heath yesterday evening.

The A29 was closed in both directions, according to a tweet from the West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.

Two fire engines and the Heavy Rescue Tender were called to the scene, the spokesman said.

The ambulance service also attended.

More to follow.
