It is thought the rain may have kept a few fairweather friends away but the event still attracted more than 30 runners of all ages, the youngest being under five.
The Seaford College and Graffham village fun run was raising money for Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice, near Arundel, this year.

Everyone set off from Seaford College on Sunday, January 22, and ran, jogged or walked round Lavington Park.
The destination was St Giles’ Church in Graffham, where hot food and drinks were laid on for all participants.
Organisers said it was another great event and one that seems to have now cemented itself into village and college life.
So far, the fundraising has netted just over £250.
