New Bognor seafront toilets open again as drainage issues fixed
Newly-installed public toilets on Bognor Regis' seafront are open again after drainage issues led to their close for several days.
The public conveniences were craned into place and opened in early October. This was after a manufacturing delay encountered by the contracted supplier.
On Monday they were closed temporarily by Arun District Council due to problems with the existing drains rather than issues with the new building.
But the council tweeted this morning: “We are happy to confirm the drainage issues are now sorted and the new toilets on Bognor Regis promenade are open for use again.”
