Sunny Worthing inspires exhibition
Inspired by photographs he took on a sunny day in Worthing, Terry Smith, 65, of Downview Road, Worthing, decided to put paintbrush to paper and capture the town using his artistic skills.
After taking part in an art project organised by Worthing Churches Homeless Project earlier last year, Terry decided that he would support the charity further in his first exhibition.

Hide AdTerry said: “I just wanted to capture real life Worthing scenes. It’s for pleasure more than anything, it’s just the buzz of someone buying one.
“I totally can’t believe I’ve got an exhibition on, it didn’t even cross my mind when I started art school.”
“I’m always looking to improve, I’m never satisfied.”
Terry has been taking part in art classes, through Aspire Sussex, since November 2012. When someone from Aspire suggested he exhibit his work Terry said he was “taken aback.”
Before he joined the course he had not picked up a paint brush since leaving school in 1964.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, January 18.
