Proposals to create 250,000 work experience places nationally over the next three years were announced last week.

Haskins Roundstone, though, which is currently being extended, is already working with JobCentre Plus, and staff gave the work experience scheme’s latest recruits, Hayleigh Newman from Rustington, who was unemployed for six months, Penelope Caswell, who joined the scheme straight from college, and Anthony Cooney, who was unemployed for seven months both, and is also from Littlehampton, a tour.
