Elphick hoping for a Rebels reaction

Rebels fell to a 1-0 defeat at table-toppers Folkestone Invicta on Saturday to leave them 12 points behind in second place.
Worthing host Peacehaven on Ladies Day at Woodside Road on Sunday, with women able to watch the game for just £3 – with £2 going to the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity.

Hide AdElphick is hoping a large crowd will be in attendance at Woodside Road for the game and said: “Hopefully, there should be a good turnout for the game.
“It’s for a great cause and it should be an enjoyable day for all who attend.
“The most important thing for us is to get the three points, though.
“The league table doesn’t lie and we are near the top, while Peacheaven are at the bottom, so if we turn up and play to our full potential on the day we should have too much for them.
“We just need to make sure we play well on the day.

Hide Ad“It’s our last game in 2015, so we will be wanting to end the year on a high and carry on our good form in 2016.”
Rebels’ first game of the new year is away to Walton Casuals on January 2.
